Gray Update: Escapes DeportationFollowing media coverage and pressure by the Gray family, Homeland Security granted Lauren Gray a renewable two-year deferral, which allows her to legally live in the U.S. Emily did the update and got the community's reaction.

Prop B: A State DividedEmily Spain and colleague Blake Hanson won the Fox News College Challenge in May 2011. It is a national competition where students produce a fair and balanced story and one team wins. The pair won, received a $10,000 scholarship and were featured on the network's show Fox and Friends. Operation Tyler
A community came together to raise money for Tyler Huffman, a local marine. He became paralyzed from the waist down because of an injury he suffered while serving in Afghanistan. A team of volunteers surprised Huffman with Operation Tyler - a fundraiser in his name to help build him a wheelchair accessible home.
